Based in Bristol, Anna Marrow is a printmaker, illustrator and image-maker known for her vibrant, nostalgic style that combines everyday objects with a bold Pop Art aesthetic.
She studied Fine Art in Bristol and then Communication Design at Central Saint Martins, specialising in illustration. She now draws at BV studios and makes prints at Spike Print Studio, Bristol. Most of her prints begin as biro and ink drawings in her sketch book, before being developed into collages and later becoming screen prints and paintings.
Anna is ‘transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary’, through a distinctive visual language blending nostalgia with contemporary narratives. Urban landscapes combine with humorous, surprising elements, frequently explores themes of transition and juxtaposition, often capturing figures in motion, such as swimmers and skiers.
Anna is represented by renowned galleries across the UK and is regularly selected to take part in prestigious exhibitions including the 2024 Royal Academy Summer Show. Her work is widely collected across the UK, Europe and the USA.
