A print Erica made whilst on holiday on the Isles of Scilly. She treated that holiday as a sort of DIY residency, going out with her sketchbook to draw lovely views and then using them as a reference for gel plate printing. Her suitcase was laden more with art materials than anything else, so she counts herself lucky that no paint explosions occurred during transit! This is a single pull gel plate monotype, building up layers on the gel plate and printing the finished image in one go.
