Destination dopamine! The online art curator, gallerist and influencer unveils her favourite local galleries, treasure troves and creative hubs.

If you’re looking for contemporary, affordable art then Emily Hadley is a great place to start. Based in South Devon, the former primary school teacher has a brilliant eye for spotting Zeitgeisty art, bringing artists and a particular style of joyful, colourful and uplifting art to the masses. Take a trawl around her online gallery store, and I guarantee you’ll spot something that would look good in your living room, hall or kitchen, and with prices as little as £30, in your basket...

It’s not just Emily’s art picks we love, it’s the way she collects and showcases it in her stylish South Devon home and gallery №13 which has featured in mags like Ideal Home and 25 Beautiful Homes. Not only can you pick up some up gorgeous art, but you’re also sure to find inspo on interiors, fashion and lifestyle, as do her 130k+ Instagram followers. This month, No13 is one 400 studios and galleries opening up to visitors as part of September’s Devon Open Studios from 6-21 September. So, with the doors ajar, we thought we’d push in and ask Emily a few questions first. Educate us, Mrs Hadley!
